A co-founder of Stuyvesant Capital Management Corp. John has developed several proprietary investment indicators including our Cyclical Bond, Bond Valuation and Earnings Discount Models.  Prior to establishing Stuyvesant, John was vice president and senior analyst at Loeb Rhoades Hornblower & Co.  He received his BA in economics with honors from Marietta College and his MBA in finance from Columbia University.  John is a Chartered Financial Analyst and member of the CFA Institute and CFA Society of New York.

Vincent Catalano, CFA®

Chief Markets Strategist

Mr. Catalano is a past president of CFA Society New York (formerly The New York Society of Security Analysts) and a Nonresident Senior Fellow at the Information Technology and Innovation Foundation. Vincent appears regularly in the financial media (Bloomberg TV & Radio, Financial Times, Reuters TV, Wall Street Journal, CNBC, Yahoo Finance, foxbusiness.com, BNN TV, New Delhi TV, CCTV - America, Barrons, Reuters) and is a frequent guest speaker at various major investment forums. Vincent also produces and conducts timely topical and educational programs with various CFA Societies and other groups, including the highly acclaimed "Market Forecast Series”. He is author of "Sectors and Styles" (Wiley 2006). He attended The Juilliard School and New York University and is a CFA charterholder since 1986.

Pete Daly

Managing Director, Portfolio Manager

Pete Daly began his investment career at Loeb Rhodes Hornblower in New York City. Stuyvesant was the private investment division of the brokerage firm at that time. After leaving Loeb Rhodes, Pete relocated to Charlotte, NC and worked as an account executive at Interstate Securities where he served as a closed end fund analyst. He also worked for Bank of America and most recently Hilliard Lyons. Pete has developed a trend-identification service (StuyvesanTrends) which forms the basis for a tactical asset allocation investment process using exchange traded funds.

Kathy McLoughlin

Secretary Treasurer, Office Manager

Kathy has worked in the financial industry for more than 20 years.  Prior to joining Stuyvesant Capital Management in 2000, she worked for the firm of Ingalls & Snyder, LLC.  Kathy successfully runs all facets of the daily operations of the firm and acts as assistant Chief Compliance Officer.  She maintains the firm’s disaster recovery plan.  Kathy has an associate degree in Business Administration from The Wood School.
